Ali Abu Zeid

Ali Abu Zeid is an equity consultant, community leader, and Founder & CEO of Infinity Consulting, supporting non-profits, organizations, and businesses to build inclusive, anti-racist, and culturally responsive systems.

Originally from Syria, Ali arrived in Canada in 2016 and brings over a decade of experience in community development, newcomer services, and equity-driven leadership. His work is informed by lived experience and grounded in trauma-informed, strength-based approaches that center people, accountability, and sustainable change.

Ali has led newcomer-focused departments, developed programs in employment, entrepreneurship, and anti-racism, and supported organizations through grant writing, program design, and funding strategy. He has successfully secured and managed over $7 million in public and private funding, helping organizations move from vision to funded, measurable impact.

Through Infinity Consulting, Ali delivers equity training, GBA+ support, and capacity-building initiatives, translating complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies that strengthen inclusive workplace cultures and drive meaningful community change.

Ali believes lasting impact is built through collaboration, trust, and centering lived experience, when people are valued, communities and organizations thrive.
